The Escape Lodge is designed and run by Deb & Gemma Johnston, owners of DreadLock Escape Rooms. With 5 themed rooms at their location, DreadLock is Cornwall's largest escape room venue, and it just so happens to be on the same site as the Escape Lodge!
The accommodation is all on one floor and comprises of:
Bedroom 1
King size bed
En-suite with corner bath, shower and toilet
Bedroom 2
Double bed
En-suite with shower and toilet

Two single beds
Bathroom
Bath with overhead shower and toilet
Open plan kitchen/dining/living room
The kitchen is fully equipped with:
Hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
The living room is spacious, with plenty of seating. The room features a large dining table - handy if you're eating in, but also if you fancy playing one of the various board games provided for guests to enjoy. Sliding doors lead outside to a patio area with a picnic table.

The maximum number of guests is 6 (there is no minimum requirement, but the price does not change).
Are we watched on camera?
No, unlike a regular escape room, there are no cameras.
How long will it take to solve the puzzles?
This depends on numerous factors:
• Your puzzling ability
• The size of your group
• How much time you dedicated to the puzzle solving
The idea of the escape lodge is that you use it as a base for your stay in Cornwall. There are lots of things to do nearby, places to visit, attractions to enjoy - the puzzles are there for you to tackle whilst you are at the lodge, but they are not intended to keep you in the lodge for the duration of your stay. If you get stuck on a particular puzzle, take a break from it, move onto something else and come back to it - you may see things differently after time to think. The clues will not only have you puzzling inside the lodge, but they will also require you to put your detective skills into action around the holiday park - clues can be anywhere!
How many puzzles are there?
Well, that would be telling... but put it this way, there is a million pounds' worth of loot hidden within the lodge and a lot of puzzling to do in order to find it all. Those with previous experience in playing escape rooms stand a greater chance of retrieving more of the loot than those who have never played an escape room before, but everyone will enjoy the challenge, regardless of how many items they retrieve.

Can we photograph/video our experience?
Whilst there is no problem with you taking photos/videos of yourselves whilst staying at the lodge, we would ask that you do not capture the actual puzzles - so as not to ruin the experience for prospective future guests.
Are pets allowed?
As much as we love animals, the lodge is not pet friendly, so no animals are allowed.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a deposit is taken, but this will be refunded once you have checked out and the accomodation has been inspected
